About the work
Blue III is one of the five sculptures created for the National Autumn Exhibitions Shared Spaces, Plovdiv 2022.
Space, taken as a prerequisite, is like a sea in which anything, any tonnage, can be immersed. Whereas space that is defined by the object itself creates volume and form. There is no object without form. It is the specificity of the form that determines whether the space will be inextricably linked to the object or whether the object will simply “float” surrounded by the space.
